What is the Marathon?
The Social Acceleration Marathon is a pro bono program sponsored by Global Community Impact and Talent for Good that has taken place in LATAM since 2018 and now it is being offered in Johnson & Johnson India for the first time!
As part of this initiative, J&J employees will become volunteer consultants to NGOs. The volunteers will collaborate in a team and follow an innovative pathway based on design thinking, with a mission to solve a management challenge faced by the NGO.
Volunteers will get the opportunity to strengthen their skills, expand their network and become a part of a transformative experience, thus creating impact for their communities. This process will be guided by Social Lens Consulting and Phomenta, J&J's partners in this initiative.

Join our passionate community of volunteers to give back to causes you care about!
Together with a team of volunteers, you will support the NGO in solving a management challenge faced by the organization. In addition, you will deliver the necessary tools to leave an "installed capacity" in the NGO. This will enable them to strengthen their management functions and continue implementing the solution after the completion of the program.
As a volunteer, you will dedicate up to 2.5 hours in a week, for 7 weeks. (Sep 26th - Dec 5th*)
All Johnson & Johnson employees are invited to participate.

Contribute to the community

Learn an innovative methodology
At the Social Acceleration Marathon we use an innovation methodology based on design thinking to guide the group meetings and the solution building process. You will learn and experience each of these steps!
Develop skills
Solving a challenge and working as a team requires adapting to a new context and dealing with continuous learning! The Social Acceleration Marathon is connected to the J&J Leadership Imperatives, and employees have the opportunity to develop them in a practical, dynamic and collaborative way.
